Hybrid Optimization of Smell Agent Optimization Algorithm with Cultural Algorithm
Abstract
This paper proposes combining Small Agent Optimization (SAO) with the Cultural Optimization (CA) algorithm. This hybridization results in the development of four new variants. The resulting algorithm is called Cultural Smell Agent Optimization (CASAO). CASAO incorporates the normative and situational knowledge inherent in the cultural algorithm into the traditional SAO. This integration leads to four variations named CASAO_Ns, CASAO_Sd, CASAO_NsSd, and CASAO_NsNd. The solution accuracy performance of these variants was examined on three different classes of thirty-seven IEEE CEC benchmark functions.
