The results revealed that in the year 2002, 1987,1973,1974 and 2006 were classified with an exceptional drought condition.Extreme drought was occureoc in 2008,2011,1990, 2013 and 1970.Similarly, 2001,2017,1994,1981 and 1977 was classified as slightly drought events
