Role of ICT for Youth Empowerment and Job Creation in Zaria, Kaduna State Nigeria
Abstract
This study examines the role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in empowering the youth and creating job opportunities most especially in Zaria Local Government of Kaduna state as a solution to unemployment in Nigeria. Data were generated through a questionnaire. Findings show that the application of ICT for youth empowerment creates job opportunities. Thus, this paper recommended that youth should be personally committed to ICT education and making effective use of ICT for personal, community and national development.
