Modeling the Endemic Stability of Covid-19 in Nigeria

Abstract


COVID-19 came as the most fearful infectious disease. It started with the massive elimination of lives. Based on the rate of spread, people all over the world thought that the world had come to an end. Researchers were working round the clock to look for a way to control the spread of the disease. Researchers have used many methods to study the transmission dynamics of infectious diseases. In this research paper, we formulated a compartmental mathematical model which will provide the needed solution to control the disease. To check the spread and control of the disease, the stability analysis of COVID-19 in Nigeria must be applied. We also checked the basic reproduction number of the model which is a determining factor for the stability analysis. The result shows that COVID-19 is globally asymptotically stable, meaning that the spread is dying down.
