EVALUATION OF CLUSTER KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT STRATEGY ON COMMUNICATION IN UNIVERSITIES IN NORTH-WEST GEO-POLITICAL ZONE, NIGERIA

Abstract


The objective of this paper was to evaluate the application of cluster knowledge management strategy on communication in universities in North-West Geo-Political Zone, Nigeria. Research question and hypothesis were formulated according to the objective. Descriptive survey research design was used for the study, thirty (30) university management and one thousand and seventy faculty board members were the population of the study with thirty (30) and five hundred and thirty (530) samples respectively. A self-developed instrument (questionnaire) with five likert scale was used for data collection. The questionnaire was validated and reliability found at .58 index. The data was analysed using Mann-Whitney U-test statistical method. The finding indicates partial application of cluster knowledge management strategy on communication in the universities.  On recommendation, a model was adapted as a guide for the application of the strategy.
